The amount of carry-on baggage must be restricted in order to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers.

Carry-on baggage

Conditions made for carry-on baggage should be followed. If your hand baggage is too big or heavy it must be carried as checked baggage. Oversized baggage won’t fit in overhead lockers or under the seat in front of you. If you carry on bigger musical instrument as cello, you need to book own seat for it and contact to Finncomm Airlines Customer Support.

Money, medicines, jewellery, keys, precious metals, computers, personal electronic devices, perishable or fragile products, important documents, negotiable papers, identification documents, security or other valuables should be included in carry-on baggage. Customers are responsible for storing and carrying their medications for the duration of the flight.

To make security control easier, pack your travel documents, liquids allowed and laptop computer readily accessible in carry-on baggage.

Checked baggage

Make sure your baggage stays properly closed, fixed with a strap. It is not advisable to lock the baggage. The authority might need to open your baggage after security control if they suspect there are some forbidden things or liquids. Make sure that grips, belts or such won’t swing loose so that they might get stuck in baggage classifier.

General tips

Attach a name tag on both the inside and the outside of each bag with your name and the full address of hotel or other accommodation at your destination. For the return journey, write your name and home address on the name tags. Remove all old tags and labels form your baggage, as they may cause your baggage to be delayed.

Do not pack in your baggage any items or packages received from someone else, if you don't know the contents of such items or packages.

Finncomm Airlines is not responsible for minor damage to checked baggage, unless the damage renders the baggage unusable. International regulations limit the liability of airlines for damage to checked baggage; therefore, it is in your interest to insure your baggage for its full value.

Passenger’s identity is checked at the check-in desk and on the gate both in domestic and international flights.
